Privacy Policy
How Tenderness Lit handles email, browser storage, saved reading, PWA caches, local events, retention, and privacy choices.

1. Scope
This policy explains information handled when you read this static literary site, install its progressive web app, save pieces, adjust type, make a local newsletter demonstration, or email the editorial desk.
2. Information you provide
Email enquiries and submissions contain the address, attachments, and message details you choose to provide. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
3. Browser storage
The site uses localStorage for saved-reading routes and titles, reader size, reading position, consent choice, and a bounded event queue. These values stay in your browser unless your device or browser syncs storage independently.
4. PWA caches
The service worker stores the app shell, static files, and pages you visit so the site can load reliably and offer offline copies. Browser controls can remove this cache.
5. Local event queue
Interaction events such as page view, filter choice, scroll depth, save, install, and connectivity status are kept in a queue capped at 250 entries. The current site supplies no analytics transmission endpoint and excludes raw email addresses.
6. Newsletter demonstration
The newsletter form validates an address and displays a browser-local confirmation only. It has no subscription endpoint and neither sends nor stores the entered address.
7. Email handling
Messages to our addresses are used to answer enquiries or conduct the submission process. Email providers process those messages under their own terms and security practices.
8. Retention
Local values remain until cleared through site controls or browser settings. Email is retained only as reasonably needed for correspondence, editorial records, rights administration, dispute prevention, or legal duties.
9. Choices and rights
You may clear saved reading, site data, caches, and permissions in your browser. You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of email correspondence where applicable, subject to lawful recordkeeping needs.
10. Security, changes, and contact
No method is perfectly secure; avoid unnecessary confidential material. Material policy changes will appear on this page. Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected].
